About the Society
A welfare society for non-resident Indians and their families
Society of KMCC Care is a non-profit welfare society supporting expatriates from Kerala, repatriates returning home, and the families who depend on them — through medical, financial, educational, and legal assistance.
Legal foundation
The functioning of this Society shall be fully subject to the provisions of The Kerala Societies Registration Act, 2025.

Aims and objectives

Clause a. Welfare of NRIs and repatriates
To promote the welfare of non-resident Indians (NRIs), and repatriates.
Clause b. Social, financial, educational and legal support
To provide social, financial, educational and legal support for them and their families, ensuring a secure and dignified life.
Clause c. Medical assistance abroad
To provide medical assistance to expatriates from Kerala in the outside countries including financial aid for medical treatment, emergency healthcare support, and repatriation assistance in case of severe illness or disability.
Clause d. Return and rehabilitation
To extend financial aid and rehabilitation support to NRIs returning to India after ending their expatriate life, facilitating their reintegration into society through employment opportunities, skill development, and entrepreneurship programs.
Clause e. Support for families of deceased NRIs
To offer financial assistance to the families of deceased NRIs, ensuring their social and economic stability and providing necessary guidance on accessing benefits, compensations, and legal entitlements.
Clause f. Charitable, medical and educational initiatives
To establish and support charitable, medical, and educational initiatives for underprivileged sections of society, including setting up scholarships, educational grants, and vocational training centers for children of NRIs and financially struggling families.
Clause g. Disaster relief and rehabilitation
To provide relief and rehabilitation in the event of natural calamities, disasters, or humanitarian crises, by mobilizing resources, offering shelter, food, medical aid, and financial support for affected individuals and families.
Clause h. Welfare for widows and orphans
To create welfare programs for widows and orphans of NRIs, ensuring their financial security, education, healthcare, and overall well-being through dedicated assistance programs and partnerships with charitable institutions.
Clause i. Brotherhood and advocacy
To foster a sense of brotherhood, cooperation, and social harmony among NRIs and their families, advocating for their rights and addressing their grievances by liaising with relevant authorities, embassies, and government bodies.
Clause j. Awareness, legal aid and advisory services
To organize awareness campaigns, legal aid, and advisory services for NRIs regarding taxation, investment, employment rights, retirement benefits, and other essential matters.
Clause k. Entrepreneurship and investment
To promote entrepreneurship and investment opportunities among NRIs, encouraging financial contributions towards the economic development of India and recognizing the achievements of successful NRI entrepreneurs.
Clause l. Research and policy engagement
To support research, seminars, and policy discussions on issues affecting NRIs, engaging with government authorities, policymakers, and organizations to advocate for legislative measures in favor of expatriates.
Clause m. Publication and media outreach
To engage in publication and media outreach, including newsletters, journals, podcasts, and digital platforms, to disseminate information on NRI welfare, legal updates, and community support initiatives.
Clause n. Allied welfare activities
To undertake any other charitable, social, medical, legal, or financial welfare activities aligned with the overall mission of the Society, strictly operating on a non-profit basis.
