Account and data deletion
You can ask us to delete your KMCC Care account and the personal data associated with it at any time — by email, or in person at the Society office.
This page applies to the KMCC Care mobile app (com.cabin4.kmcc-care, com.cabin4.kmcc_care) and to the public registration website operated by Society of KMCC Care.
Option 1 — by email
- Send an email to careofauhkmcc@gmail.com using the subject "Account deletion request — KMCC Care".
- Include your full name, the phone number registered with your account, and your registration or membership number if you have it.
- We verify your identity before acting on the request, and may contact you on the registered phone number.
- You receive written confirmation once deletion is complete.
Option 2 — at the Society office
- Visit or write to the Society office at the address listed on this page.
- Ask for an account deletion request and provide the phone number registered with your account.
- Bring or enclose an identity document so Society personnel can verify the request.
- The office records the request and confirms it in writing.
What is deleted
Once a deletion request is verified, we remove the following from our active systems:
- your account and sign-in credentials
- your profile details, including name, date of birth, gender, and photograph
- your contact details, including phone numbers, email address, and postal address
- nominee and family member details you supplied
- documents and files you uploaded to the app or the registration website
- device tokens used to deliver notifications to your device
What may be retained
A limited set of records is kept only where the Society is required or permitted to keep it:
- records the Society must keep under The Kerala Societies Registration Act, 2025, and other applicable law
- financial, welfare disbursement, and audit records connected to assistance already provided
- records required to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, or to resolve a dispute
- anonymised or aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you

Your account is deactivated and personal data is deleted from active systems.
Within 90 days
Residual copies are cleared from encrypted backups as those backups expire.
Before you delete
Deleting your account ends your membership record and any welfare requests in progress. The action cannot be undone — you would need to register again from the beginning. If you only want to correct or update your details, contact the Society instead.
